The largest mural ever was completed Thursday, as part of the seventh annual Guinness World Records Day. British artists ‘3D Joe & Max,’ were the winners with their incredible 3D street mural that measures 9,601 square feet.

“The massive optical illusion depicts a waterfall cascading into a deep gorge, making it look as though the members of the Reebok/CrossFit(The Sponsor) team are performing death-defying stunts.”

STREET BREWED

Nearly 25 internationally known artists, many included in MOCA’s current Art in the StreetsShow and premiering original works produced on 10×12 wood panels in Street Brewed: An Exhibition of Contemporary Street Art, the inaugural presentation of Angel City Brewing’s new Downtown Los Angeles art space. New York-based Ron English created X-Ray Guernica and Shepard Fairey installed a mural from his current series depicting sly visual commentary on the apotheosis of Ronald Reagan in American political mythmaking.

Expected to rotate during the exhibition’s run, the current artist roster for Street Brewedincludes ABCNT, Lady Aiko, Augor MSK, becca, Cern, Cryptik, Dabs Myla, D*Face, Easo,Ron English, Eye One, Shepard Fairey, James Haunt, Logan Hicks, How & Nosm, JR, Kid Zoom, Phil Lumbang, Mear One, Ernesto Yerena Montejano, Nomadé, Saber, Swoon, andTanner.

Street Brewed is on view free of charge at Angel City Brewing from April 29 to July 10 during the brewery’s operating hours of Thursday and Friday, 5 p.m. to closing; and Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m. to closing. Pints of locally handcrafted beer by Angel City Brewing are only $5 during the exhibition’s run. The opening reception also includes live painting by becca, DJ music, and food trucks.

The exhibition was produced by Angel City Brewing with support by the Los Angeles Downtown Arts District Space (LADADspace) and with coordination by LAHODA Fine Artsin partnership with a legendary, but anonymous members of the street art scene.

WHY do we go through life consistently working towards something ?

what are we “working” towards?

is it towards your goals, your most desirable things you see/want and feel like you absolutely need?

while taking my shower i had an epiphany… lol

WHY ARE MOST PEOPLE WORKING FOR FREEDOM BUT HAVE NO FAITH IN GETTING what there working for ?

thats because half the things people are working for is scripted, and in the back of there mind out of reach.

faith is something out of your reach and you know for sure you can grab it and hold on to it .

weather it be a big house big car or a big boob women. lol

i see my piers striving for dreams but going in circles trynna get it .

first way to get it, “and this is just an observation ” from what iv’e observed in my 21 semi years on this earth is … take the variable thats selling you a dream out of your equation and find your own dream

tv/media know how to sale you a dream. A dream full of freedom..

but the irony in that is half the entertainers that are the salesman/women of this dream, are more slaves than the people trynna be them…

A canadian artist that moved to my home town Pasadena and opened a couple galleries and started the pasadena playhouse, look the homie up u might find some inspiration
